Some of our night-time FM crew getting their workout in together during their lunch break. |
- Motivation - You can motivate each other with positive feedback.
- Friendly competition - sometimes, seeing someone else improving or working hard towards a goal will help give you a little extra motivation to work harder. You can challenge each other to meet small goals (run a faster mile, one or two more repetitions on an exercise, who can be more consistent)
- Accountability - it's a lot easier to get out of bed in the morning and getting to work or the gym when you know your friend will be there waiting for you.
- Ideas - The two of you can share ideas on how to get closer to your goals. Whether it's with nutrition, exercise, work related, general knowledge, a fresh set of ears and eyes can help you see things in new ways.
- Fun - Let's face it, adding a friend can make just about anything fun.
